The Planets

My current project is to finish a concept album based on The Planets. Yes, I know it's been done before - by Holst specifically. I'm going to do it in my own style though.

Why? I realised one day that I was most of the way there anyway with songs I'd already written and finishing off the set has been a good inspiration for writing - there's always something to write about. Further, I reckon that it'll be quite a decent album when it's done - the songs seem to flow quite nicely together.

It's easy to find descriptions of the Roman myths of the Gods. Each of these songs has some relation to the god the planet is named after:
